Thanks to the Electronic Angle Detection function, it can precisely measure the screw-driving angle, which is useful when inserting long screws correctly. The KickBack Control system, which can be activated or deactivated, protects the user from sudden kickbacks, for example, if the drill bit jams. 

Robustness is guaranteed by a metal chuck and a metal gearbox, ideal for intensive use on construction sites or in workshops. The drill has two speeds: 0–550 rpm in low and 0–2,200 rpm in high, to adapt to drilling or screwdriving. 

It can drill very large diameters in wood (up to 150 mm with hole saws) and is compatible with all Bosch Professional 18 V batteries. For optimal performance, Bosch recommends ProCORE18V batteries with a capacity of at least 5.5 Ah.

Despite its power, the GSR 18V-150 C maintains a weight of approximately 2.1 kg without battery, balanced for prolonged use.
