The short centering bit has two main cutting edges and a wavy side cutting edge for perfect results. The tip is shaped to eliminate chips, promoting fast and accurate drilling. Allows chip-free drilling of blind holes as well as edges and inclined holes, e.g. fixing hinges, dowel holes and removing knots. Use for drilling in soft and hard wood, veneered wood and non-laminated chipboard. The 3-sided shank of the Forstner bit prevents rotation in the chuck. Manufactured to DIN 7483G, minimum cutting hardness of 50 HRC. For use in all drills (drivers or pillar drills) with a 10 mm chuck.
