Thanks to its three operating modes — rotary only, hammer + rotary, hammer only — the DHR243Z can be used for a wide range of applications: from fastening anchors, to drilling concrete or metal, to light chiselling.

The impact power is approximately 2.0 J, with a hammering rate of up to 4,700 blows per minute, making it suitable for drilling holes in concrete up to 24 mm in diameter. The no-load speed ranges from 0 to 950 rpm, ensuring precise control over various types of material.

For greater flexibility, the DHR243Z has an SDS-Plus chuck for bits and chisels, and a quick-release chuck for straight shank bits. The chisel can be adjusted in 40 positions through 360°, useful for finding the ideal orientation in demolition or roughing work.

The design includes an anti-vibration side handle and a rubber battery support to reduce vibrations transmitted to the user, improving comfort during prolonged use. The battery protection circuit protects against overload, over-discharge, and overheating.
