The Starlock ACZ 100 BB blade makes wide and deep flush cuts in wood, metal and plastic. Wide cuts in door jambs and small mouldings as well as long cuts on the floor are possible thanks to the extra-wide 100 mm diameter blade. The wide cuts are reinforced by the patented Bosch circular welding technology, which prevents jamming and reduces scorch marks. This unique technology involves welding a strip of HSS (high speed steel) onto a thinner HCS (carbon steel) base body, producing independent and solid teeth. For cutting soft metals and abrasive materials, the BIM (bi-metal) combination of an HCS blade and HSS teeth resists wear and heat, ensuring a long blade life. In addition, this sharp segmented blade allows cutting into corners. The Starlock push-fit mounting system allows the blade to be quickly removed and replaced in 3 seconds without having to touch it. The mounting system offers maximum power transfer thanks to the three-dimensional self-tightening system between tool and accessory. The blade is suitable for use with all Starlock, Starlock Plus and Starlock Max power tools as well as with common multi-tools.
